One thing that I’ve realized since starting Project 2010 is how things look differently close-up. This is a photo of my bamboo placemat at home. Ordinarily, people wouldn’t have given it a second look because it’s just a normal placemat. However, when looked through the lens of the camera up close, it looks…well..more interesting! (especially after I tweaked the color a bit using picnik =P )
The extreme cold temperature has finally left… for now at least! Today was one of the first days where the temperature reached into the low 40s. Normally I wouldn’t consider 40s to be that warm but after weeks of the brutal cold, it’s a welcoming change. So today, instead of my usual wool scarf, I donned a silk scarf instead (pictured here).
Although it seems bright and sunny outside today, it was actually still miserably cold. And the bad news is that the weather report says it’s going to continue for another couple of days if not longer! So as you can guess, I didn’t venture outside today due to the blustery cold and just way too many meetings. But I figure I can show you all the toys that I got at work. The Gap Bear in the back and the PioPio were gifts from college friends…and Tigger and the little bear, no clue where they came from! =P
